Las Vegas's hottest big band, the JOI Jazz Orchestra brings classic big band jazz back to Downtown with its twice monthly series, "JOIful Jazz Wednesdays" at Notoriety! Comprised of some of the top jazz musicians anywhere, the JOI Jazz Orchestra presents exciting jazz performances including classics from the Great American Songbook and new music composed/arranged by local acclaimed artists.
Thanks to an endowment for the musicians, all ticket proceeds benefit local music education and outreach programs provided by nonprofit, Jazz Outreach Initiative!

Laura Taylor is a Platinum Album recipient for Diana Ross’s recording of her original composition “Think I’m In Love”. As a composer and vocalist, her music has also been recorded by jazz legends Steve Kuhn, Eddie Gomez and Lewis Nash, and most recently by the UNLV Jazz Ensemble 1, the UNLV Community Concert Band, and T.A.P.P.S.. Laura has recorded 5 Jazz CD’s and had a top 10 selling disco album “Dancin’ In My Feet”.
