Jazz Outreach Initiative begins its second semester of Jazz Language classes for students on January 30, 2021. These highly interactive and immersive classes, taught by Kenny Rampton, Summer Kodama, Ray Logan, and guest mentors, are fun for students of all ability levels. Students who take these classes will take their knowledge and skills back into their school programs and enhance their personal and ensemble playing. This semester, we're splitting the class into a beginning/intermediate and an advanced level.
Members of the Las Vegas Youth Jazz Orchestra will have these courses included in their tuition. Students outside of JOI's programs may participate for just $10 per class or $75 for the semester beginning January 30, 2021. The classes are offered weekly every Saturday from 11 am - 12:30 pm.
